The story of the painting
This is one of the first paintings in the Kwiaty (Flowers) collection, inspired by Dutch painting. It's a smaller format (50 × 60) in mixed media. Next to a classic depiction of flowers, with an iris in the foreground, there are pasted-in colour prints, marker lines, geometric forms and sharp shapes. Patterns and techniques borrowed from street art are there too, and you can also find references to ikebana.
The painting will beautifully complete a classic interior, and in a colourful frame it can become an interesting accent in a modern space.
