I'll ask about the details, suggest a direction, and give you a price and a date. Before I start, you know exactly what we're agreeing on.
I paint, and you stay in the loop.
I send photos as the work progresses. You see the painting take shape and have a say in the result.
The painting comes to you.
A signed original. Pick-up in Warsaw or safe shipping within Poland, to Germany and across the EU.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a commissioned painting cost?
It depends on the size, the technique and the idea. I'll give you a price after our first conversation. Before I start anything, you know exactly what you'll pay.
How long does it take?
We agree on a date at the start, depending on the size and the idea. If a particular date matters, such as a birthday or a wedding, mention it right away.
What if I don't like the result?
That's why we stay in touch the whole time. I don't disappear with the painting for a month: I send photos at every stage, and you can share your thoughts along the way.
Can you paint in any style?
No, I only paint in my own style. I don't copy other people's paintings or styles. If one of my works moved you, I can paint something in its spirit, just for you.
Will the painting be signed?
Yes, every painting is a signed original.
Do you ship abroad?
Yes: within Poland, to Germany and across the EU. The painting is packed securely.
Do I need to know exactly what I want?
No. An occasion, a mood or a few words about a person are enough. We'll work out the rest together.
How do I commission a painting?
Fill in the form on this page or write to lewandowski.malarstwo@gmail.com. I reply within 1 working day, with no obligation.
What materials do you use?
I paint in acrylic, together with fluo paint, aluminium foil and bubble wrap. They give my paintings the light and texture you see best in person.
Is a commissioned painting a good gift?
Yes: for a birthday, a wedding, an anniversary or no occasion at all. Tell me about the person, and I'll paint something nobody else has. If the date matters, mention it straight away.
Can I order a painting from Germany or elsewhere in the EU?
Yes. I ship paintings to Germany and across the EU, and the form on this site also works in English and German.
Can I cancel a commissioned painting?
A commissioned painting is made to your specifications, so the right of withdrawal you know from online shops does not apply to it. That is why we agree on everything before I start, and I send photos as the work progresses. The details are in the terms of sale.
