On 8 September 2025 I went out into the city with one of my best-known paintings, “Żelek” (Polish for a gummy bear). Together with the photographer Tomasz Oszczepalski I showed it where Warsaw is at its busiest: in the underpasses, at metro stations and on Patelnia square.

I talked to passers-by while Tomasz took pictures, sometimes unseen, sometimes in posed shots. Together we drew people in, and that is how a living gallery of one painting came about.

It was a unique experience, and I think we were not the only ones who enjoyed it. Passers-by could see painting and photography up close, meet a painting outside a gallery and interact with it.

The photos and footage later went up on my Instagram. The comments showed how warmly people received it.
