From 20 November to 13 December 2026 I will once again show “Kolor Męskości” (Colour of Masculinity) at the Wawer Culture Centre. This time it will be joined by art photographs by Łukasz Wodziński on similar themes.
“Kolor Męskości” is my look at masculinity today, at the stereotypes and expectations attached to it. Through my paintings I talk about male sensitivity, emotions and experience, and show that masculinity does not have to fit one fixed pattern.
These works touch on things that are not always easy to talk about. There is room in them for sadness, helplessness, tenderness and weakness, but also for strength, expression and individuality. I do not try to define masculinity or hand out ready answers. I ask questions and leave room for your own reading.
The technique matters too. Intense colours and bold elements clash with a raw, grey, matte ground. The pairing recalls street art and is at the same time a metaphor for what changes and for what stays important in us.
Because masculinity has more than one colour. And it doesn't need just one.
